Ashford Pattern – Tekapo Yarn Garter Stitch Cardigan

Description

Designed for the Ashford Tekapo Double Knit / 8 Ply weight yarn, this pattern is for a knitted edge-to-edge Garter stitch Cardigan. It has an ombre effect by using a Main colour and 2 closely matching different contrast colours.  It can also be made in a single colour.

5 Sizes for Adults with Bust measurements between 81cm to 101cm with approximately 20cm additional ease for fit.

Yardage required:
Main Colour: 5 (6) x 100g balls of Ashford Tekapo 8 ply
Contrast Colour 1: 2 x 100g balls of Ashford Tekapo 8 ply
Contrast Colour 2: 2 x 100g balls of Ashford Tekapo 8 ply

Approximate total yardage between 1800 metres – 2000 metres.

Gauge: 18 stitches and 34 rows for 10cm in Garter Stitch using 4mm needles. Needle size: 4mm.  Please note that larger or smaller sized needles may be required to reach this gauge depending on the knitter.
Additional requirement: 6 Buttons.
