Ashford Pattern – Tekapo Yarn Cowls 8 ply and 12 ply

Description

Designed for Ashford Tekapo 8 ply and 12 ply yarn in two adult sizes.  These 2 beanie patterns are for 8 ply in 2×2 Rib Stitch and Stocking Stitch and a 12 ply Basic Beanie with Rib Stitch brim and Stocking Stitch in unisex styling. Circular and flat knitting instructions for both styles. Easy Knitting.

2 x 2 Rib Beanie, 8 ply – Head circumference 54cm and 59cm

Needle sizes – 1 pair of 3.25mm (UK 10) knitting needles, 1 pair of 4.00mm (UK 8) knitting needles.

Option to knitting hat in the round: Needle sizes – 3.25mm (UK 10) circular needle (40cm long), 4.00mm (UK 8) circular needle (40cm long), set of 5 double pointed needles (dpn’s) 4.00mm (UK 8).

Basic Beanie 12 ply- Head circumference 54cm and 59cm

Needle sizes – 1 pair of 5.00mm (UK 6) knitting needles, 1 pair of 5.50mm (UK 5) knitting needles.

Option to knitting hat in the round: Needle sizes – 5.00mm (UK 6) circular needle (40cm long), 5.50mm (UK 5) circular needle (40cm long), set of 5 double pointed needles (dpn’s) 5.50mm (UK 5).
